It was treat to meet Ron's longtime friends. We had the most extrodinary breakfast out on there mountain side patio. Hummingbirds danced all around as the morning sun warmed us. The eggs where the best we had ever tasted. |

Quinton was a knight in shining armor. He drove Ron and Nancy back to Frisco to get medical attention for Ron. He and Marsha put us up for the night and drove us back over the pass in the morning. We are glad to meet people with such big hearts. |

In the middle of the afternoon a big quick storm came blew over in which Gene and Lois gave shelter to the 4 dusty Great Divide riders. Life is good in South Park. |

Don is a bow hunter - for elk - one of the many we met. We camped next to him and he gave us probably 8 or 9 gallons of good water for our dry camp day - would have been very difficult otherwise. Also shared a beer with all of us! |

When we emerged from the wilderness, Dolly was there on a 4-wheel ATV. She led us down the highway (we were drafting her ATV) to her house, where she and Wayne gave us wonderful cold water, and hand-knitted beautiful chiles! |
