March 12, 2008: La Chorrera to Panama City
Rugged freeway riding; some of the shoulder was missing, some with lots of debris or sand, so hitting it at high speed was problematic.
It was not allowed to ride across the Bridge of the Americas - we were stopped by a policeman. However, he arranged a patrol car to escort us over! So we rode over in style after all.
