April 27, 2008: Don Matias to Medellín, Colombia
Mostly a huge downhill, although there were some hills. All the way down to 1500 meters. We came into Medellin on Sunday, so got to take the Ciclovia (the closed highway dedicated to cyclists) that they do every Sunday and holidays. The highway before that was sometimes 3 lanes in each direction with a bike path, and then suddenly funneled back into a 2-lane road. Beautiful, modern city.
