March 04, 2008: Gualaca, Panama to Boca Brava, Panama
We were trying to take a day off and went too far. but met another cyclist on the road who told us about the hotel at Boca Brava, an island just off route. We got to the turn.off and took a taxi to Boca Chica and then a water taxi to the island. Now we're getting a rest day!
It was our first day on the Interamerican Highway, and so far, so good. It was just fine, not too much traffic and generally some shoulder. A bit hot.
