June 11, 2006: Tsiigehtchic, NT, Canada to Peel River Crossing, NT, Canada
Terrain began to change from the total flat to more ups and downs (but not much). Still mostly swampland. Some very pretty creeks/rivers. Most of Fort McPherson was closed when we arrived (Sunday after 5pm). We got gas for the stove (60 cents) and got hot water in our water bag for a shower. Then we took it a bit out of town and took a glorious hot shower (in a gravel pit hanging the water bag from an abandoned bulldozer). Camped at the very nice campground at the Peel River ferry crossing.
