Beltway around the west side of Salta has a nice bike path, on the east side of the highway.

After we got south of Salta, got onto a fairly narrow road with a bit too much traffic, but it was OK.

All paved.

No accomodation in El Carril, so we rode the short distance to Chicoana and stayed in a home-accomodation.
