Beautiful lake crossings and a pleasant hike from Puerto Frias. Then a really stiff, rough, rocky, loose climb of only 250 meters and 3km to the Chile border. We were off the bikes and just dragging them up. But it wasn't too far. Rough and loose and steep going down the other side as well. Camped at the Carabineros post at Casa Pangue - they were very nice and it was quite pleasant.
